The exhibition project “K.A.I.R. lab” is the second in the series of exhibition organised as part of the project Y – Young Point. It has been developed in cooperation of Kosice 2013 – European capital of culture, K.A.I.R. Košice Artist in Residence and the East Slovakian Gallery in Košice. The project represents two independent artistic interventions in the gallery space, realized by Lucija Smodiš and Alexander Raevski. After two month living in Kosice, both artists respond to the local East Slovakian culture in comparison with their own cultures and traditions. Each intervention, however, shows the artists view on the city of Kosice through the filter of their origin and identity.
