Inna Aslamova (Russia) and Daria Buzovkina (Belarus) are two contemporary dancers and founding members of a dance company Quadro. They came to Košice to research the issue of distance. The crucial aim of their residency stay was to use dance to explore local culture and possibilities to connect with people. They did so during a pop up dance performance or research in one of the shopping malls in Košice. Through collaboration with local enthusiasts and a dancer Alexandra Mirekova Inna and Daria developed a performance called Košice something near… and staged in an old café Slavia. Also for Inna and Daria, each of them from different country, a residency stay in Kosice provided them with a possibility to work closely together in an intensive and effective way.
